Fabric Width vs. Shade Width – Know the Light Gap
The fabric is intentionally 1 1/2 inches narrower than the full cassette width. This allows space for internal mechanisms, but also creates light gaps on both sides.
Add-on Tip: Block Side Light with Light Blocker Strips
To achieve 100% blackout, use light blocking strips on each side of your zebra curtains. These U-shaped or L-shaped side channels seal the gaps, effectively stopping all side light—perfect for nurseries, bedrooms, or media rooms.
