How To Measure Shangri-La Blinds?

INSIDE MOUNT

1. Measure Depth：

For inside mount, a minimum depth of 1 7/8 inches is needed. * If you choose a valance style and install depth less than 2 3/4 inches, the valance will extend past the window frame.Please take into account any unique structural elements, such as cranks, sash windows, and handles; don't forget to measure and account for them.

2. Measure Width：

For more accuracy, measure the width of the open window across the top, middle, and bottom; record the smallest measurement to 1/16 inch.Considerations should also be made for decorative trims, skirting boards, and tiles.allowances.

3. Measure Height：

Take a measurement of the window's opening height from top to sill on the right, middle, and left, then subtract the smallest measurement by 1/8 inch.

Note: To guarantee correct fit, inside mount window shades and blinds will have a tiny amount automatically deducted by the manufacturer.

OUTSIDE MOUNT

1. Measure Depth：

If the extended window casing has handles or a crank, measure the depth of the casing and remember to account for these. To make a 4/5-3 7/10 inch allowance, we have four different combinations of brackets and roll directions.

2. Measure Width：

Measure the width of the open window, taking out any frames or moldings if present. For optimal light control and privacy, add 1-3 inches on each side (for a total overlap of 2–6 inches).

3. Measure Height：

Measure and record the height of the open window from the sill to the top. To account for the valance height and mounting space above the window, add at least 3 inches.

Note: There won't be any factory deductions for outside mount window blinds or shades. They'll be manufactured using your precise measurements.
